Managing scripts in ConnectWise RMM just got easier. In this video, our experts walk through how to review suspended tasks in your CW RMM environment and why understanding user permissions and account deactivation is key to avoiding disruptions in scheduled automations.
Step By Step:
- Open ConnectWise RMM (Azio).
- Navigate to Automation > Scheduled Tasks.
- Locate the filter section near the bottom of the screen.
- By default, the filter is set to “Last 24 hours”.
- Change the filter to “Status” instead.
- Wait a few moments for the system to reload in the background (especially if you have many tasks).
- Once reloaded, change the status value to “Suspended”.
- The list will update to show any suspended scheduled tasks.
- Click into any suspended task to review the details.
- Reschedule the task under: A new user account, The same account (if reactivated)
- Tip: Suspended tasks often happen when a user is deleted or disabled.
- Best practice: Review suspended tasks weekly or monthly.
- Missed suspended tasks can result in broken automations and missed actions.
- Keep your automation running smoothly with regular maintenance checks.
