JK: How many years have you been in business?
VK: We have been in business for 7 years now and we have over 60 employees between our offices in the US and India.
JK: What is your core business model?
VK: ProVal provides remote technical support and back-office services for other IT service companies, who are also referred to as managed service providers or MSP’s. We cover after-hours support for our clients, so they don’t have to staff 24×7 internally. This allows them to scale their business without adding staff and help service their clients round the clock.
JK: What is the most exciting thing happening in your company right now?
We are growing! We are adding about 2 customers every month, which is very exciting. This has definitely been one of our best years in terms of sales and revenue stream as well as from a profitability standpoint.
VK: What is keeping you up at night?
Catching up with our growth. As our operations grow the complexity grows. Managing the operations, the platforms, tools and making sure we are aligned with what we are delivering and what we are promising to deliver over the next few months to our customers.
JK: What has been your favorite project so far?
VK: My favorite project so far has been for a client in South East US, a mid sized company that we provide 24-7 support for. It’s been a great relationship, a great learning opportunity and we have demonstrated a lot of value to the client. They have been really able to help their staff not be on call all the time and improve the quality of life for their engineers. We like to take on these types of projects where we are benefiting someone and seeing their quality of life improve.
JK: What is your daily inspiration?
VK: I think its just being there for our customers. Knowing that we are adding value and providing support to them on a day in and day out basis. That drives a lot of energy for me as well as my team. That is what keeps me going each day.
