A reputed, progressive training and educational services firm. The company employs approximately 100 people at 3 different locations across the United States, and conduct live training and seminars across the world.

The Infrastructure

12 Windows Servers running Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server, Oracle e-Business Suite on an Oracle Database, 3 Linux Servers, 80 Desktops, VPN, Firewalls, Cisco Routers and Switches

The Challenge

Our client was having a hard time managing and troubleshooting their IT Systems setup. Majority of the time was spent in fire-fighting issues on both the network and systems side, and the IT Director had only the help of 1 Systems Administrator, not able to handle the load of queries and issues from the users.

The Solution

ProVal provided our client with out virtual IT Department solution, which included the following services to the client:

  • Remote and pro-active monitoring of all systems and networks in place at client locations.
  • Application of patches and updates to all devices on a regular schedule.
  • Creation, execution, and monitoring backups for all client servers using Symantec Veritas Backup.
  • Troubleshooting and issue resolution on server applications including Microsoft Exchange, Oracle, Active Directory, Sharepoint, SQL Server, VPN, Firewalls, and other Networking
