- 3+ years of work experience on the Microsoft Desktop/ Server platform
- Min 1+ year of troubleshooting experience on Windows Server 2003/2008
- Troubleshooting experience on AD, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, File/Print Server, and SQL
- Experience creating and applying group policies and domain scripts
- Basic Knowledge on Windows/Batch scripting
- Troubleshooting skills on site connectivity, VPN, and remote access
- Experience on patching using WSUS
- Experience with Backup Software like Symantec Backup Exec
- Experience with server Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware tools
- Basic experience on web filtering and content management software like Websense
- Basic experience in configuration of routers/firewalls/managed switches
- Exposure to network monitoring tools and software
- Exposure to helpdesk or ticketing software tools
- Understanding on disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP)
- Should be preferably certified as MCP/MCSE/MCITP
- Ability and open to working on a 24×7 shift
- Good verbal and written communication skills to follow a global process
