Eligibility Criteria for System Admin

  • 3+ years of work experience on the Microsoft Desktop/ Server platform
  • Min 1+ year of troubleshooting experience on Windows Server 2003/2008
  • Troubleshooting experience on AD, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, File/Print Server, and SQL
  • Experience creating and applying group policies and domain scripts
  • Basic Knowledge on Windows/Batch scripting
  • Troubleshooting skills on site connectivity, VPN, and remote access
  • Experience on patching using WSUS
  • Experience with Backup Software like Symantec Backup Exec
  • Experience with server Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware tools
  • Basic experience on web filtering and content management software like Websense
  • Basic experience in configuration of routers/firewalls/managed switches
  • Exposure to network monitoring tools and software
  • Exposure to helpdesk or ticketing software tools
  • Understanding on disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP)
  • Should be preferably certified as MCP/MCSE/MCITP
  • Ability and open to working on a 24×7 shift
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to follow a global process
